Cheek Enhancement

Loss of volume in the cheeks has one of the most visible impacts on our face, caused by the ageing process. A youthful face is a ‘V’ shape, as we age this turns upside down and we become wider in the lower face and lose volume in the mid and upper face.

Sunken, hollow or flattening of the cheeks can make us look gaunt, tired and aged. This can then impact the lower face creating folds from the corner of the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds) and the corners of the mouth down to the jawline (marionette lines).

This is due to the reabsorption of bone, muscle weakness and loss of subcutaneous fat that was naturally present in our youth, but then gradually dissipates in later years.
